Homemade Zombie Costume

I designed this Homemade Zombie Costume after looking for days on end trying to find a good zombie costume for Halloween. I couldn't find one that did it for me, so I decided to make my own. Using pure glycerin, and gelatin I created a mixture to create fake skin. I used a small piece of black cloth and glued it around my eye using eyelash glue. I then spread the skin mixture onto my face and waited for it to dry a bit. (I didn't apply to my entire face as I thought it would look better if I didn't, I think I was right). I then applied makeup. I started with a light colored base, and then a reddish tone on top of it, followed by the light colored tone on top of that. I then used black eye shadow to touch up the face to give it a dirty look. I then applied the black eye shadow around my uncovered eye for added touch. Then around the covered eye to give it the appearence of my eye having been ripped out.

The next step was to apply fake blood. I applied it to areas where there was creases in the skin to give the effect of cuts and such. I used the blood heavily in the missing eye area for obvious reasons. Note: This mask cannot be reworn. Once it is peeled off it is done. Although remaking it, for me, would be easy.

Now for the outfit. I used a work shirt and work pants. Sprayed fake blood all over them and put on a pair of work boots. I then sprayed the fake blood on my neck area and some on the face to give the affect of blood spraying onto me when I had a victim.
