Homemade Woody and Jesse from Toy Story Costumes
These are very easy Homemade Woody and Jesse from Toy Story Costumes. The beauty is in the details. We purchased the hats from Disney, but made everything else.
Woody – Jeans and cowboy boots, yellow shirt, vest sewn from cow fabric, red bandanna, sheriff badge.
Jesse – Jeans with cow fabric “chaps” sewn onto front. White blouse with yellow satin sewn onto shoulders and cuffs and red sequin trim. I made a long yarn braid and attached it to a stretchy headband so it hung down my back.
Both of us also had a “pull-ring” on our backs. We used a wooden ring from a craft store and a bit of yellow ribbon. We cut a slit in the back of Jesse’s shirt and Woody’s vest and pinned the ribbon to the inside, letting the ring hang down. This detail really added to the costume and got us a lot of laughs!
