My 8 year old son loves his Wii so why not transform him into a Wii remote? He has never been so excited for Halloween! For his Wii Remote Costume I used 4, 20 x 30 foam core board and white duct tape. The sides are white cardboard. The sizes are custom to his frame so he can move around.
For the buttons I used the craft foam. For special things like the power button and the logo at the bottom I scanned his Wii remote and blew up the items I needed. I also used marker to color these in to remove the pixelated edges. To make the costume easier to walk in I decided his face is going to be the “A” button. I also used the duct tape to make custom straps inside so the weight is on his shoulders. I will draw a letter A on his face. It is light weight and he has good visibility and movement.
