Homemade Thomas The Train Costume

I promised my son that I would make him a train costume when he was wanting to be Spencer (a more rectangle train for parents that don't have Thomas fanatic kids). He changed his mind and wanted to be Thomas, so came to this site for ideas on a Homemade Thomas The Train Costume. I didn't copy any but got some great ideas from the other Thomas costumes here.

Used one large box, and 2 smaller boxes for main part of the body. Found a cardboard "hat box" at Hobby Lobby that worked perfect for the face/boiler. We used a peanut can for the smoke stack, I punched holes in the bottom and used two zip ties to tie it to the hat box. I found some 4" foam discs that we used for the buffers.

Total cost = about $25
