This is a picture of my college roommates and I each dressed up in a homemade Teenage Mutant Ninjas Turtles costume, with Master Splinter, April O’Neil, Casey Jones, and the Professor from TMNT Secret of the Ooze. We made our entire costumes.
The undershell is made out of dyed tanks tops and underwear. We wore green tights and green long sleeve shirts. We hand made our face masks, and knee, waist, elbow and wrist ties from fabric. We used spray painted garbage can lids for the shells that were worn like backpacks. We did buy some of the turtle’s weapons from Walmart, and used a broom stick for Leonardo’s weapon. We also had to have a pizza box, that was carried by Michaelangelo!
Splinter is wearing a robe and ace bandage wraps around her feet and legs, along with a cane. She also has half of one ear cut off. April O’Neil is in her yellow suit with her reporter microphone. Casey Jones has his hockey mask and stick, and the Professor has his TGRI lab coat and ooze canister.
