Homemade Super Mario Costume
I'm one of the leaders for the middle and high school-aged ministry at the church I attend, and we are constantly having competitions for costumes and fun things to get kids interested in church. A competition for Halloween arose, and my obsession with video games since childhood led to this inspiration of a Homemade Super Mario Costume.
I borrowed the overalls from a friend of mine who had them. I already had the pair of Timberland boots, and the shirt and hat. Thankfully, the Redskins have same colored apparel as Nintendo's favorite hero. I just turned the shirt inside-out, and glued a cut-out "M" over the Redskins logo on the hat. Another friend of mine had some unused costume accessories, hence the white gloves!
Total cost: A bunch of borrowed items.So, FREE!
