Homemade Stewie Griffin Costume
My costume this year was a Homemade Stewie Griffin Costume, the baby from Family Guy.
It was made using two laundry baskets, off which I cut the rims and then taped together. I then covered the baskets with four layers of paper mache. The ears, which were made out of wire and foam, were taped on and then paper mached over. I used a sand color paint to paint the head and then used black and white paint for the eyes and everything else.
His hair was made with black pipe cleaners that I stapled and glued on with a glue gun. I cut a hole in it so I could get it on my head and then a hole in it so I could see. I found red pants at a used clothing store (bib overalls were really hard to find) and I had a red tank top which I cut to make the outfit look more like bib overalls. I used happy birthday pins, which I painted yellow, for the buttons and glued them on with a glue gun.
