Coolest Homemade Spongebob Costume

Using hot glue & leftover ice cream cone cushioning foam, the homemade Spongebob costume’s body is a simple rectangle leaving one end open. Arm holes were cut in the sides & a rolled piece of foam was glued in for a sleeve.

I went online to find a pic of Spongebob’s face & drew a pattern, cutting out the eyes to fit. A little spray paint, some t-shirt paint & a red felt tie & he was done. Then some of daddy’s old white t-shirts, paint & a sewing machine made yellow gloves & some pants to look like Spongy’s socks & legs. Finally, I carved little black shoe covers out of leftover foam…..

he got more candy than any of his little friends!!
