Have you ever wanted to pass down the traditions of Halloween to your kids, then the best thing that I could do for them was to make sure that their Halloween costumes are always handmade. Growing up, my mother always made my costumes by hand and used her imagination to bring these costumes to life and they always were a hit during Halloween.
My son wanted to be something funny for Halloween. We made him a scarecrow that couldn’t scare. We attached a painted black parrot to the top of his hat. We hollowed out a pumpkin and he used it as his head. We got some clothes from a thrift store and we used some old bamboo sticks as his cross that he hangs on.
The homemade scarecrow costume is relatively inexpensive and it works great for people that are on a budget and want a great homemade costume. I hope you enjoy this costume.
