Homemade Scarecrow Costume
This is my daughter Kinley's Homemade Scarecrow Costume. She is a Not So Scarey Scarecrow. She wanted to be a scarecrow, but I wanted to make her something out of the norm. It was made with 20 yards of tulle, several different colors lots of ribbons, sunflowers and rafia. She even has rafia ribbon arm bands.
The crow wand is her favorite part of the costume. It's just a crow on a dowel rod. The hat is an old one we already had. I cut the brim out and added rafia underneath so she had scarecrow hair.
She loves this costume and I really enjoyed the time we spent together on it!
