Homemade Rainbow Brite Costume
I made this Homemade Rainbow Brite Costume for a Saturday morning cartoon theme party I attended and wore it again for Halloween last year. I made it from scraps of fabric and sewing together in to tubes and stuffing them with a light stuffing. I sewed the dress and made the belt with fabric and cardboard and covered the cardboard with fabric.
I found these funky shoes and painted them with a shinny paint and glued stars anywhere I could. I added the slip for extra colour and bounce. For an extra touch I wore cute matching jewelry and a wig for a more cartoony look. I edited this picture to cover the background.
This costume won me a few costume prizes last Halloween!
