Coolest Homemade Popcorn Adult Halloween Costume

My homemade popcorn adult Halloween costume was created using an old dress, red painters tape, spray paint and a tutu.

The dress was an old, white beach cover-up. I used the red painters tape to create the stripes and the word “PoPcorn.” I bought a red child’s sized tutu and spray painted it yellow and gold to use for the popcorn (then wore it on my chest).

In addition, I created a popcorn purse using cardboard, white paint, red ribbon and more painters tape. I used hot glue to glue together the cardboard and then painted it white. After the paint dried, I used the painters tape to create the stripes and the words. I then used a hot glue gun to glue on the ribbon (handle). I filled it with popcorn and handed it out all night.

To top it off, I wore red tights and red shoes with a “popping” red flower!
