Homemade Peter Pan Group Costume
The girls at work and I decided to do a Homemade Peter Pan Group Costume. We all made our own costumes, I am Captain Hook. For Tinkerbell, she made a small green dress and attached fairy wings. For Peter Pan she simply wore green tights and sewed a basic shirt, hat and booties.
For the lost boy we took an old cap from a hair dryer and added a skunk stripe and applied makeup. For Captain Hook I wore a purchased hat,hook and wig. The coat was purchased at a thrift store and I embellished it with gold buttons and trim.
For the pirate shirt I used the ruffles from a curtain and sewed them to the shirt. The sash is just plain old fabric. The boots were actually made from a pair of clogs, some scrap leather, and some shoe laces. Yes I am a woman but I fooled a lot of people that day.
