Cute Do-it-Yourself Peacock Costume

Hi, this was my 2009 homemade peacock costume worn in Vegas. My girlfriend was a flamingo and I was a peacock. We used hot glue and more feathers than I can count to attach the feathers onto booty shorts, corset, and bra. I used peacock and blue ostrich feathers, as well as a cheap turquoise feather in the bodice. Also the head piece was made by deconstructing a clip and well… more glue.

  3. My girlfriend and I wanted to be birds this year for Halloween. We picked the peacock and flamingo, just as y’all did. My question is how did y’all attach the tails and insure they were fixed on the shorts? Love the costume and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  4. I love it, I’m making a peacock costume right now. How did you make the tail? I’m having difficulty trying to make the tail without it being too stiff looking :)

  10. That’s awesome! What kind of corset did you get? The one that is just for your torso, but doesnt cover breast and you wore a bra or a full corset? I can’t tell from the picture. Thanks!
