Cool Homemade Optimus Prime Transformer Costume

We decided to have a T party where very one had to come as something beginning with a T. There was really only one option for me, I had to be a Transformer.

This Optimus Prime Transformer Costume was actually really difficult to build, not so much the robot part but getting it to transform into a truck!

I will admit there were a few naughty words coming from me when building this one! The whole costume is built with cardboard, tape and hot glue gun.

I sprayed painted some old jeans silver for the legs and wore a blue shirt underneath. It was put out for the binmen a few days later but the kids in the street got to it first and where running around in the costume playing which was pretty cool to see!
