Homemade Mummy Halloween Costume
This Homemade Mummy Halloween Costume was very easy to make and very inexpensive. We started with some old sheets. My daughter had lots of fun helping to tear them into strips (make sure you tell them NEVER to do this with your good sheets). Then we soaked them in tea in the kitchen sink to get away from the white color.
Once they were dry I used fabric glue to attach the strips to an old pair of sweats and a hoodie. I wanted to make sure she stayed warm. It was a lot of fun to make and a first for me. And my daughter has got lots of compliments about the outfit. The whole thing cost less than $10. I just have to paint her face and she's ready to go.
