Homemade Miss Argentina and Beetlejuice Couple Costume

The hardest part of putting the costumes together was my cape. It took me a couple weeks to figure out how I was going to make the similar shape from the actual movie and to make it stand on my back. Thanks to my creative fiance we figured it out! Two wire hangers and some extra wire from Home Depot (costs about $5 for hangers and wire).

I shaped the wire and attached it to the hangers to make the desired shape. I found the fabric from Hobby Lobby and sewed it together over the wire (took most amount of time). Also from there was ribbon and iron on letters for the Sache. I found a cheap dress from Ross $20, a wig for $20 and some theatrical makeup (green) for $6.99. Beetlejuice costume was the least amount spent, 50% off clothes-$10, $14.99 wig and some makeup. I was actually jealous because he got the most attention on 6th street here in Austin when it took me weeks to make mine and a day to get his together!

Luckily we were the only Homemade Miss Argentina and Beetlejuice Couple Costume that were out last night so no replicas. It was fun though!
