Homemade Lifesize Barbie in a Box Costume
Well, as a child my favorite thing to play with was my Barbie doll collection. Now all grown up, this Lifesize Barbie in a Box costume was a fun and nostalgic blast from the past!
First, I bought a wardrobe box, taped it all up and carved out the front section to look like a doll box. Next, I spray-painted the entire outside bright pink and hand-painted the Barbie and Mattel logos. On the inside I spray-painted it a light pink and carved grips on each side to make handles for picking the box up while walking. Last, I went shopping and bought a simple dress with a lot of pink accessories. Instant Barbie!
