Coolest Homemade Lifesaver Candy Costume

This Lifesaver Candy Costume is the first homemade costume I attempted and I was so pleased on how it turned out! The inspiration came from the shoes you see in the picture that I purchased overseas while living abroad with my parents. At the time, I didn’t really have a use for the shoes, but I thought they were funky and would come in handy someday. I made the costume using a green tube dress to start and just bought the other colors in fabric and sewed each section onto my dress. I used white felt to make the logo & drew it with permanent marker. I was lucky enough to find awesome eyelashes and accessories to go along with the costume.

When I wore this last Halloween I won best female costume at the club I went out… it was only a 50$ bar tab but I was still so excited!
