Homemade John Deere Costume
my son is two and loves tractors so much I made him a Homemade John Deere Costume for Halloween. I used a medium sized cardboard box and painted it with green paint. I used tap led lights for the head lights so they would really work. I used the side sponge air conditioner insulation for the grill of the tractor used yellow duck tape for the sides and mailbox letters to write John Deere and bought some reflector tail lights for it and used black straps that I glued in a criss cross shape over the back part to help keep it on him.
I cut holes for him to hold it up on the sides where he could reach. Everyone loved his costume on Halloween. He was very proud of it too. It wasn't to difficult to make, took about 4 hours all together. I would love to make this again, it was fun making it and loved the smile on my baby's face when he saw it.
