Homemade Ivan Drago from Rocky Costume
I absolutely love Rocky IV, and I really wanted to be Ivan Drago (aka Dolph Lundgren). I loved it so much that I died my black hair blonde. I don't expect people to follow suit, because I went through two months of torture betting my black hair back.
Other than the hair, for this Homemade Ivan Drago from Rocky Costume I bought a Soviet Union flag online for about $35, and red/yellow basketball shorts for about $20. I used double-sided tape to keep the flag stuck to my shoulder. I strongly recommend this so that you don't have to deal with the flag all night.
I also wanted to be able to use my hands during the night out, so I decided not to use boxing gloves. My friend randomly knew how to tape hands for boxers so that was the finishing touch. I just wore sneakers and long athletic socks, but boots could be a great addition.
It was a HUGE hit.
