Homemade Human Statue Costume
To make the Homemade Human Statue Costume I used several sized boxes, 1 for the pedestal and 4 for the upper and lower tiers. I wrapped all the boxes in textured white wallpaper and assembled them all together.
I then glued on ivy in a draped pattern. I painted my daughter's hair and face with white actors paint and then put a halo of white painted eucalyptus on her head. Finally I wrapped a white sheet cut to size around her to complete the costume.
I had so many people stopping to ask how I made the costume and to take pictures of it. I had no room to store the costume so I donated it to a local church's youth group to use in plays.
