We did this Homemade Headless Girl Costume last year too, but after trial and error made the costume better and lighter which my daughter loved. We used coat hangers for the arms and a wooden stick for the shoulders. A rolling back pack but it wasn’t tall enough so we tore it apart and used what we could of the back pack to make the upper body tall enough.
We moved to a new town and everyone loved it. She got tons of pics taken of her and of course all the boys thought it was cool.
