Homemade Gorilla Caged the Zookeeper Costume
This Homemade Gorilla Caged the Zookeeper Costume was inspired by one that I saw on a website for like $1500!! Well I knew that mine wouldn't look as professional but I decided to try and have some fun with it! I bought the hands and mask for 15 dollars from a party store and used curtain rods with duck tape to make the cage! I already had the zoo keeper hat and the shirt!
I stuffed the legs and gorilla with newspaper (although for this years costume I am using bubble wrap as the stuffing). You can't see it clearly in this photo but I wrapped my legs with Halloween garland and used furry black slippers I had as the feet!
So in total with the tape and all it was probably about $40! I sure felt good saving all that money and having a funny costume! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
PS: I'm not sure why but a lot of people thought the gorilla caged Jane Goodall!! I answered with "the gorillas love Jane, why would they cage her!!"
