Homemade General Greivious Costume

My grandson wanted a Homemade General Greivious Costume Star Wars for Halloween. I purchased a baseball cap, modge podge glue, foam sheets, paint, black top and pants, light sabers and gloves. I used newspaper squares and glued them to the baseball cap for the mask. After several layers, I added Styrofoam cups for the “ears” and foam. I used ping pong balls for the eyes.

I painted the shirt and paints for the “metal” part of the General. I painted the foam pieces and then sewed them to the top and pants. I used slack socks for the extra arms and stuffed them with newspaper. I sewed them to a wide piece of elastic that I added a Velcro fastener to so we can wrap it around his waist. I then attached fish line to them and sewed mitten clips to the other end to clip to his shirt so all arms would move the same way.

I made paper “claws” and glued them to an old pair of socks to slip over his shoes.
