I started out just collecting everything I needed for this Homemade Darth Vader Costume. Going to second hand stores for leather clothing items to cut up, hardware stores for screws, lights etc.
The only thing that was ready made was my helmet, light saber bought at Walmart for $3.00 and ordinary black winter boots. You don’t have to spend a lot of money but it did take a ot of time putting it all together. I think it turned out pretty well. Darth Vader is one of the easier costumes to make. Anyone can just go but a costume, but it’s more fun making it yourself.
The best item to work with is the foam floor tiles, there easy to cut and shape. Plan and be patient. Hope you like it.
