Homemade Comic Book Wonder Woman Costume
I loved this Homemade Comic Book Wonder Woman Costume. Every piece of it was handmade (other than the wig, tights, and boots). For WW's top, I drew and cut out the shape of the eagle from yellow felt and sewed it onto a red tube top. For the shorts, I purchased a pair of men's silk boxer shorts and painted white stars all over them. I made the cuffs and the crown out of a stiff yellow felt, and for the "golden lasso" I used nautical rope, which naturally comes in a bright yellow.
Since I wanted to be the comic book Wonder Woman, I wanted to use bright colors. I was too shy to enter the costume contest that night, but everyone told me that I would have won!
