Easy DIY Christmas Tree Costume

I wore a homemade Christmas tree costume. I bought a tutu on and sewed on ornaments throughout the skirt. I then strung battery operated lighters that actually lit up throughout the night. There was also garland along the waist band. The head band was just a basic head band that I then used wire to secure a star on top.

The shoes were cloth flats that I stuck bows on the top of. I used a Christmas bag as a purse filled it with candy canes and passed them out throughout the night. The coolest part was the lights, throughout the night they were lit up and made the costume stand apart.

You can wear any shirt; I found that shirt randomly. I did wear leggings when it got cold outside.
