Homemade Caterpillar Costume
This Homemade Caterpillar Costume was all material purchased and hand made to fit my little caterpillar. It was made to slip on over the head with the back part being stuffed with cotton batting and the stripes were a tan fuzzy material added to give it the fuzzy appeal.
For the hat I took a black beanie hat and sewed it onto it the green hood that was separate from the rest of the costume and had Velcro under the chin to keep it in place. Add some pipe cleaners for antennas, black strips on the body for legs and your done.
The cutest part was watching her walk and her little body wiggled. Its a nice warm costume for all those northern trick or treaters and was loved by everyone. Have fun and enjoy.
