Homemade Bathtub Costume

I was trying to figure out what I wanted to be for Halloween and I decided that the costumes that win are always a little suggestive! One day the idea came into my head that I wanted to be in a shower. Since that has been done so many times, I changed this Homemade Bathtub Costume a lot!

I decided to make myself a fancy claw tub complete with a shower head, tap, a rubber ducky and BUBBLES! I started with a large rubber maid container (as many of my big costumes do!) and I covered it with pipe foam tubing and white fabric! Once that was done I start making and adding all of the accessories. I punched holes and used tons of glue!

For the bubbles I sewed a cut up sheet to a couple of tube tops and covered them with pillow fluff! It was such a fun costume to go out in! Our friends really loved it. We even included our boyfriends and gave them "jobs" to do. One of them was the towel boy, one was the soap boy, you get the idea!

I think what really completed the whole look was the fact that we looked wet! Going to the washroom was quite a bit easier than I thought it would be, all we had to do was undo the belts that were around our waists and drop the tub! We did have to share a stall though, that wasn't a big deal because you couldn't see anything through all of the fluff anyways! I hope you enjoy the costume as much as we did, Happy Halloween!
