Homemade Barbie in a Box Halloween Costume
When I was little my mother got me a Barbie doll that looked just liked me. One day while going through a box of childhood toys I found the doll. Shortly after finding her, I decided to be Homemade Barbie in a Box Halloween Costume.
I was able to get a box that was big enough for me to fit in and decided to make myself a real life Barbie in a box. I designed and worked on the box for a little over a month. All the writing was done freehand. I painted a self portrait of myself as a Barbie on the back of the box. I attached straps to the back of the inside of the box. I also attached handles to each side of the front of the box. I used these handles successfully to get around for the entire night.
I love designing costumes and I believe that this costume is one of my successes.
