Homemade Ash from Army of Darkness Costume
I made this Homemade Ash from Army of Darkness Costume last year. I found a cheap shirt at value village and ripped it a bunch and smeared makeup over it since that's all I had to make it look dirtier. In the back is a rifle I made out of cardboard in a holster also made form cardboard.
It's held on by a bracelet in the center and a few cheap belts I also got from value village. The chainsaw hand is a cardboard box that cut a hole in the end for my hand and played with a bit so it was a little less square looking. Spray painted that red and the blade silver (the chain on the chainsaw is from a hardware store, I don't remember what it is exactly), then threw some extra makeup on it and all over myself to make me look a bit more like I'd been fighting the undead. It mostly got sweated off, but the makeup was a rush job anyways (actually the whole thing was, I made it the night before).
It was nice though to have a hand free to eat cupcakes though.
