Ghostbusters Homemade Halloween Costume
My 5 year old son Chase is a huge Ghostbusters Fan. After Halloween last year we purchased a stock Ghostbuster costume online with the blow up backpack. After a year of catching ghost, the backpack had a blow out and would not hold air. So, we decided to make our own Ghostbusters Homemade Halloween Costume.
With several trips to the garage for nuts, bolts, a vacuum hose, parts from the Weedwacker, spray paint, a tap light, some donated wire from a neighbor and several internet searches for Ghostbuster photos, we came up with our version of a Proton pack.
Then he decided all Ghostbusters must have a Ghost Trap. So, several trips to the basement for a box, wrapping paper rolls, black electrical tape, an electric switch and more internet searches we made the ghost trap.
We finished up the costume by attaching a play walkie talkie to a belt, and used skating knee pads for the elbow pads.
The costume turned out so "COOL" he decided Ghostbusters would be the Theme for his upcoming 6th Birthday Party!
