Homemade Frozen Chopped Off Head
This was a fun costume! everyone loved it! I sprayed the freezer with fake snow to give it the frosted look, used a fake packaged "heart" and a little make up, slit throat and frosted hair were perfect touches. He Loved IT!
I used poster board which was pretty light, and cut it to the right sizes... I glued an Ice cream bucket for candy and we used cardboard to set on his shoulders. My son drew a picture and we used foam letters for the "magnet Look'. We did cut two small squares in the side for his hands to hold the box up and I also rigged a shoulder/backpack type system to help him carry it.
This was NOT heavy, but hard to walk in so I did cut up the back to about his knees and used a white cloth sheet, to hide his legs, so he was able to move around better. We saw another child in a costume who was "headless" and thought that would have been a great sidekick to this costume!
All in all, we had a blast with it!
