Homemade Evil Joker Costume
I currently am a Substitute Teacher in the Huntington Union Free School District. Teaching is a great profession and I was notified that I would be teaching on October 31st, 2008. Every year the staff at the school where I work dress up as his/her favorite theme or character that he/she adores.
This year, I saw the movie "The Dark Knight" probably 5 times in the theater. I am completely obsessed with the way Heath Ledger looked as The Joker.
I woke up on October 31st at 4:00 a.m. to starting assembling my costume together and putting on the make-up which took about an hour; I even had the actual scars to glue on my face. Meanwhile school starts at 7:45 a.m. so I was really tired at this point, but as a result I walked into school with my Evil Joker costume on and each student and faculty member loved it, saying I had the best costume in school.
Immediately after school and into the night I drove to Oyster Bay, Long Island and walked the streets at night scaring everyone in sight; that is where this photo is taken. I hope that many people view my photo of The Evil Joker because it took a lot of time and effort. Thanks again and Enjoy!!
