I decided to make my boys Dr. Evil and Mini Me Costumes because even though they are 3 yrs apart in age they look so much alike and everyone always asks if they are twins!! Which is hilarious to us because they are not the same height, so we always joke that our little one is the dwarf!

Then it dawned on me that Dr.Evil and Mini Me look exactly alike too except for the height! So I decided to get sewing and I made a jacket and pant set out of some inexpensive gray material that I bought and then I bought a white turtle neck and a bald mask to put on their heads. I then added a little makeup on the side of their face to make it look like they had a scar just like Dr.Evil and Mini Me.

I also found some inexpensive white shoes (cheap generic crocs). The boys were a hit that night everywhere we went!

  3. I completely free handed this pattern when I made it! I just bought the material and outlined other clothes that we already had onto the material. Then I cut the material and started sewing! I had went to sewing stores looking for a pattern but no one seems to carry a pattern for suits with a collar like Dr. Evils on the jacket! As hard as it may sound, I am VERY much a beginner sewer and I was able to do it so I am sure others would be able to do it too! The white shirt underneath is just a white turtleneck shirt and I used white Croc shoes for their feet! Good luck!
