Cruella De Ville Costume
My niece is not the kind of kid who is happy with being a simple princess or Hannah Montana look-a-like. No, she was set on a Cruella De Ville costume. We looked and looked for a costume and they just don't exist for children and she was too small to make an adult costume smaller for her (She is only 4).
So I went out and found a dress pattern and all the accessories. I found Dalmatian material and crushed velvet material. My mother cut the pattern in half and made two sides and sewed them together. We the added a red feather boa around the bottom hem and the arm holes. She also made her a puppy print purse with a drawstring that she could use as a treat bag. We also bought her a feather boa that had lights on it.
She has been in 3 local costume contests in her hometown and has won 1st place in all three. The big contest is coming up Halloween night.
