Coolest Christmas Story Leg Lamp Costume

I have always wanted to do this Christmas Story Leg Lamp Costume, but wasn’t sure exactly how I wanted to do it. I saw the official dress costume online and was unhappy how unflattering it was. Thus, I decided to have the shade as a skirt. I didn’t have a pattern, but I suggest to those who aren’t great at sewing, to buy a simple skirt pattern. I made mine as a wrap skirt with Velcro to secure at the top. The material was found at Joann’s as well as the fringe. I used puffy paint and letter outlines for the fragile stamp.
