Homemade Blades of Glory Halloween Costumes
These costumes are based off the movie: Blades of Glory.
I took two leotards (male dance uniforms), one in blue and one in skin color. I actually had to dye the skin color one orange to make it a bit closest to the movie. For the fire costume, I got three colors (red, orange and silver) of shiny material and attached them with fabric glue. I used a mesh fabric for the flames under the arms and stretchy sequined material for the headband. The peacock costume was painted with fabric paint and had circled strings of sequined material attached with hot glue. I used "goggley" eyes for the eyes of the peacock on the right hand. I used sequin strings for the decorations around the neck. I attached peacock feathers to the back. Both looks were completed with roller blade shoes.
