Beth Chapman from Dog the Bounty Hunter Costume
Two years ago, before you could buy the costumes everywhere, I decided to take advantage of my long blond hair and dressed up as Beth Chapman (Dog the Bounty Hunter's wife). I went more along the lines of her being sexy and not silly as the costumes you can buy are.
I simply used a black skirt and blouse that I already had (free!). I bought a pair of high black boots from Wall Mart for $20 (sorry you cant see them in the pic), 2 camera cases for $5 a piece that I slid onto a black belt that I already had (free!), a can of silly string ($1) and a children s toy police set that had a badge and handcuffs in it ($5).
I didn't need to stuff my bra but that be what I suggest for the average person. Then, I curled and teased up my hair and put on some dramatic blue eye shadow, red nail polish and red lipstick (about $5 total for the wet 'n wild makeup at any drugstore). I also slid on a pair of my own sunglasses to add more drama.
I won 2nd place for my Beth Chapman costume in the contest (the owner of the place actually came up to me and said "you should have won!") and I received free drinks all night!! Everyone loved this costume!
