Homemade Basketball Hoop Costume
Last year I wanted to be something different then most costumes. So I made this costume out of a laundry basket and i strapped that to my belly.
The top part was made of card board and my dad put orange tape in a square formation. The ball was a regular ball I found in my garage.
I got the idea to be a basket ball hoop when my mom bought a new laundry hamper because there was a curve in it. When I went trick-or-treating I didn't have to hold my candy, I just threw it into my basket!
My friends and I love this costume and my teachers liked my costume too! At school we have a costume contest in gym and I won 2nd place.
Oh! At school I didn't have to carry my books. I just put them in my basket ball hoop but it was hard to go up and down the stairs. But I made it through the whole day!
