I got the Bride of Chucky DIY Toddler Halloween Costume Idea from a picture I had seen here!(coolest bride of Chucky costume 4). I really liked the one I saw and the little girl was so cute!. I got some kind of Barbie costume dress from a Goodwill. Since it said Barbie on the side I added a big white ribbon around the waist it to hide it.

I bought a $6 blonde wig from Wal-mart and cut it. I smeared black lip stick on the top to add roots. I used black winter boots my daughter already had. I really wanted to get some little combat boots but didn’t want to go buy some for one night. I also bought a fake bloody knife from Wal-Mart. I looked everywhere for a little black leather jacket but just couldn’t find one. But would of went great with this!

Once I dressed my daughter I put heavy makeup on her. Dark eye shadow, mascara, and dark lips. I also lined her eyebrows to make them look thin and added a little black mole above her lip. I painted her nails with black polish and also drew a tattoo on her chest of a heart with the name Chucky on top (I used markers) which my daughter hated. She’s a real girly girl so I had to keep her from looking in the mirror all night! LOL

It didn’t turn out exactly like I wanted but she looked so cute! Everyone loved her. I have to give a hand to Gina. I got this idea from her, she did a great job on her daughter!. Thanks for the idea!

I have always been a big fan of the Child's Play movies. My son Lucas is 22 months old and the PERFECT size to be a real life version of CHUCKY!
This homemade Chucky Halloween costume idea was pretty easy. I found some overalls at a thrift store and spray painted them blue and added the "Good Guys" logo on the front with red felt and super glue. I also used the red felt to create some large red buttons. I found a colorful striped shirt and some red tennis shoes (not pictured) at the thrift store as well.

For his red hair I used Bumble and Bumble's red hair powder - you just spray it in and it washes right out. I used a brown marker to draw on freckles and his little eyebrows. He also carried around a fake butcher's knife, which isn't in the photo, but it really added to the creepiness.

Everyone who saw him loved his costume! He looked so cute yet so creepy at the same time! I think this one will be hard to top next year.

I can't find the striped shirt, so I'll just paint yellow and red stripes on a blue shirt.

It's hard to find a good female Horror character, so I decided I would make myself a Homemade Chucky Costume!

Dungarees can be expensive, or not the right style so I thought it was much better to make them:

- Blue material

Design Dungarees:
- Fabric glue
- Scissors/stanley knife (keep away from kids!)
- Red, yellow and brown felt (2 sheets of each from any crafts store)

To complete the look:
- Toy knife
- short orange wig
- stripey long sleeve top. (I was lucky and found one in a Charity Shop)

If you can't find a suitable top, my second option would have been to buy a pale blue top draw on stripes with red, dark blue and black fabric pens.

Scars:
Red lipstick and black eye pencil

Feet:
Chucky wears little red trainers, so any flat footed red shoe would complete the look, eg. cheap red gym shoes for men or red ladies pumps.

Loved the final result!

Well done, Fab costume! The dungarees really look the part with the fireman/cowboy felt cut-outs on them! :)
