Every year at work we have a Halloween costume contest. This year, I was working with a limited budget, and I wanted to make sure that no one else would have the same costume as me. I stumbled across Rosie the Riveter idea accidentally - while browsing a poster website. It was very easy to execute, and the best part is that this Homemade Rosie the Riveter Costume cost me less than $10 to make!
I purchased blue, yellow, and white poster boards at Wal-Mart, as well as the fabric for the head band. With some practice, I was able to duplicate the yellow and blue background on the poster board, the orientation and letters must have been the hardest part.
The headband was easy to assemble - I folded a piece of fabric diagonally and secured it with safety pins.
I already had a blue shirt in my closet to finish the costume (don't forget to roll the sleeves up!), and, as the final touch, I carried a wrench in my back pocket.

This Homemade Boo Berry Costume is a super easy costume to make. Paper mache a complete helmet, paint it white. Then cut out eyes and nose. Next, buy a white fleece blanket and hot glue it to the helmet. Cut the eyes out and paint the fleece with a little blue spray paint. Find and old hat, paint it yellow with a red band. Cut 2 "o" with the holes in the middle and then one full circle in blue and half it up, those are the eyes. Put it on and you have BooBerry!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Android devices and I hate Apple products. So I have decided since everyone will be zombie Steve Jobs this year someone is going to have to destroy that zombie and who more appropriate that Andy the Android!
I made a Droid Android Costume, put it on and am pretty happy with the results, kinda nerdy but whatever.
