Coolest Homemade Evolution of Britney Spears Group Costume 5
Homemade Evolution of Britney Spears Group Costume
My friends and I decided that Britney Spears could not be captured in just one costume, so we decided to make 8 (only 7 shown in the picture) costumes in her honor. From left-right we have "Baby One More Time", "Toxic", "Like a Virgin", "I'm a Slave For You", "Oops!...I Did it Again", "Me Against the Music", and fat/trashy VMA 2008 Britney. Please pay close attention to the large snake pictured with Ms. "I'm a Slave For You", the missing fake nails and greasy hair for VMA 2008 Britney, and the perfect bangs of "Baby One More Time" Britney.
We worked hard on this Homemade Evolution of Britney Spears Group Costume, and I think this image captures the true image of Britney Spears through her years. On top of the precise costumes, we also had an ipod and speakers in one of our purses that played Britney while we walked from bar to bar.
"Hey...are you Britney" ... "Oh wait, you're Britney too...and you...OMG you're all Britney!"

Here are the Stages of Britney Spears Costume. For each costume we tried to get as much detail as we could. I was “Crazy Bald Britney”, for this I used a bald cap applied with spirit gum, a single strand of pearls, gray zip up hoodie, white cotton shorts, white tennis shoes and of course the umbrella (make sure it has a curved handle).
Next we have “slave for you Britney”, the top was hand sewn by my sister. She also wore shorts that we had airbrushed and she added colorful scarves and a chain topped off with a blonde wig. Then there is “Flasher Britney” wearing her Little Miss Sunshine shirt (again we had this one airbrushed) and short black skirt with “censored” panel sewn in. She is also wearing a blonde wig.
Our last Britney is “Pregnant Trashy Britney” in an I have the golden ticket tank top (hers was kind of last minute and could have been done better).
So I was stumped for an idea on a costume of 09. I was about 7 months pregnant and couldn't think of anything so I was looking online and there was pregnant women dressed as beer belly's, as farmers holding a pumpkin( their belly's), but I thought to myself what would I be more comfy in and wont be to cold in, so I saw a picture of Britney Spears when she was pregnant and she was a mess, ha ha.
I thought this Britney Spears Costume Idea would be a good laugh, EVERYONE knows who Britney Spears is so I picked a messed up style she has worn while being prego, so all I got was a wig, a baby blue tank an ugly skirt and boots I already had and a hat I already had and bingo, lol, my costume. It was a hit, everyone loved it.
I love to dress as Britney Spears throughout the years. I have done school girl Brit, pink wig and K-Fed Brit and this year I chose the circus Britney! Obviously I am more modest and heavier than Britney, but I make it work. This whole costume only cost $13 at the thrift store. Usually my hubby dresses as a K-Fed, but this year, he decided to be a name tag with a funny slogan. I had a great time playing the "Britney" role again and even made it into the finals at a local bar costume contest. The whip was constructed from a belly with fringe and a jump rope handle with electrical tape.
I hope you enjoy my Homemade Britney Spears Costume!
This Homemade Pregnant Britney Spears Halloween Costume was my absolute favorite costume and I put it together about fifteen minutes before I went trick or treating.
I took a huge white tee shirt and wrote "I have the golden ticket" with a sharpie marker and stuffed it with a pillow. I found a trashy blond wig and some short shorts. But my favorite part was the coke can with "beer" written on it and the cigarette.
