Boxer Costume
This was two yards of red satin sewn into a robe with a hood. I did not use a pattern. I just traced his bathrobe, sewed the two pieces together and cut down the center on the front side. I then added a hood. The shorts are white satin. I dyed a white t-shirt in tea to become flesh colored and drew muscles and chest hair with a Sharpie.
The belt was gold lame fabric that I hot glued onto a craft foam band and circle. I decorated it in red glitter. The boxing gloves are red socks stuffed with cotton and shoelaces glued on to hang around his neck. The final touch was a black eye that I achieved by using eye shadow and then I stuck a Band-Aid on his forehead.
