My daughter wanted to big beautiful butterfly, so we got at the sewing machine and paints and got to work. Used newspaper to make a pattern to cut the wings out evenly. Used a purple silk doubled to get it a little more stability. Used paints for the wing designs. Used a headband for the antennae.
